City Driving
Cities are full of hazards for road users, including high levels of traffic, aggressive road users, tight spaces, buses, one-way streets, and vulnerable pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists. Your drivers will learn the techniques they need to be able to look out for potential dangers, and then slow down or stop effectively – e.g. being aware of brake lights, navigating shorter stopping distances, and covering the brake. Our comprehensive course on city driving lasts for three and a half hours, during which time drivers learn about everything from identifying hazards to practising safe driving techniques. The module can be used in conjunction with another three-and-a-half-hour course to make up an entire day of training, which can be used toward the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
